Just saw New Moon.

Okay, I'm a Twilight fan. I don't consider myself a Twihard though. I admit-I only read the first book and still don't have a desire to read the rest of the books. With that said, I think the whole idea of Twilight and the fandom is good. It's addicting and I like it.

I saw Twilight the movie and thought it was bad. Good if you like Edward/Bella romance, but overall not so good.

Based on the New Moon trailers I had high hopes for the movie. It looked so good as a stand alone movie.

Admittedly, I'm Team Edward bookverse, but I'm Team Jacob movieverse. Is that even possible? Well, that's how I am. :)

After seeing New Moon, I will say that it did live up to it's hype. It's a better one than the first, but it's also different than the first in many ways... so I'll just say it was good.

I love Rob Pattinson like any other girl does, and he did not disappoint as Edward second time around. He seemed to get the character very well. I was particularly impressed with the breakup scene on his and Kristen's part (s). They're the perfect E/B IMO.

I get the Jacob hate, but I never understood the Taylor hate. I was blown away with his portrayal of Jacob. Dare I say it? I turned Team Jacob in a manner of speaking. I love his character. I don't exactly think he's "right" for Bella, but he's the perfect best friend.

The Cullens were fab as per usual. I like Rose. I totally understand her POV and really liked the way she carried herself in the voting scene. I also liked the Bella/Carlisle scene when he stitches her up.

The Wolf Pack is hilarious. I enjoyed them and I literally screamed when I saw them "transform." I was like, one of 3 girls who screamed at that part.

The Volturi are so freakishly fantstic. Michael Sheen as Aro is awesome. He played Aro well, and Dakota Fanning delivered. She makes a nice bad girl. The Edward/Felix fighting scene was cool.

Last but not least, Rachelle as Victoria is the best! She had no lines. All action and she sold it! She borught it and she was fantastic! I'm going to miss her in the next film, but I know Bryce is an excellent actress so here's to hoping for the best. :)

All in all, New Moon was great. I liked it so much better than Twilight. As a movie it's a great stand alone. If you're a hardcore fan, you may actually like it regardless.

The best material gift I received for Christmas was my wooden rocking horse. I wanted that when I was two years old.

The best gift I've received was being home for the holidays and not spending it in the ER/hospital. :)

Clearly I'm not doing my homework, but whatever....

For you Twilight/Rob fans do you ever pay attention to his American accent when he portrays Edward? I've only seen the movie twice (I know) and quite frankly I'm just so enthralled by his American accent. It's just as appealing as his original British one.

If we're going for asthetic beauty than I would see shower. It does wonders. Also a good moisturizer and lotion. Now if we're going for 'inner beauty' than I beleive the whole love yourself and be proud and happy with the body you're graced with.  :)

Do you believe in monogamy?

Honestly, yes I do believe in monogamy. I'm a romantic at heart and I believe in the fairytale ending and  having that special person in your life. Call me stupid or naive but Cinderella and Ariel were my favorites when I was growing up.

When I was younger I wanted to be everything. Now all I want is that simplistic life.

Yeah. That's not going to happen. :)

Lately I've been reading Arianna Huffington's On Becoming Fearless and I have to say it's pretty amazing. It's helpful and insightful. It's a great and empowering read for young girls everywhere. One of the things I've learned from it is, there is no reason to be scared. We can overcome anything in life except death. So, really, there is no reason to fear. :)
